Year 10 to 11: Fixing the Gaps 'Efficiently'
The best way is do a whole 1H or 1F paper, and mark it. Work out what grade it is, and go back two grades as a starting point. If you get a Grade 5, you should start with the Grade 3 packs.
If you're not sure
Foundation - do the Grade 1 packs first.
Higher - do the Grade 3 packs first.
Year 11 to A-level Maths
Revise JUST non-calc algebra - this is the main overlap with A-level.
You'll have a 'baseline' test which is just algebra skills and surds and incides only.
1H Algebra:
Repeating Y12?
Start the year strong; go back and look at the Y12 Pure page and work your way through the exam packs. You should aim to complete each pack 3 times:
#1 Watch video and copy down solution.
#2 Attempt the pack with just the mark scheme up.
#3 Attempt the pack independently.
Year 12 to Year 13
Your Y12 Pure and Y12 Applied must be strong; students on C or below that use the summer poorly often drop back into Year 12 before the end of the year.
The best revision is topic-based Y12 Pure and Y12 Applied but if you're struggling to get started, start with Year 12 pure grade based papers.
