Working at a Grade D means you probably got between 60 and 120 on your mock. Students who ultimately get a B or C, tend to be above 80 marks at AP5.
These students sometimes make rapid progress and get up to a Grade B/C in the real exam, and sometimes don't. One student with 110 marks in AP5 has achieved an A before. If you want a B/C you need to be working a total of 5 hours per day over your 3 subjects each day of the holidays - if you don't, then you didn't really want it.

The quickest way to boost your Grade are the target packs. Some students have used them to improve their grade by 3 grades over 4 weeks. It is a very efficeint way to improve your grade quickly.
Get a paper copy of Target E.
First (you can skip if D/C) - get the question paper AND video up and watch the video, copying down the answers like a 'walking talking mock'.
Next day - get a 2nd copy of the question pay and try it independently.
If you get over 85% you've graduate to the next pack.
Try a Paper 1 again and see what you get.
